A Traveling Fox

A Traveling Fox is a game in which the player controls a fox and must cross roads without getting hit to continue his journey. This project was conducted during a course of introduction to Unity and development with game engines and C#. This course is part of the Master Design for Immersive and Creative Technologies.

Process

Development

A Traveling Fox was developed with Unity and C# over two weeks in a team of two people. In this project, I worked on the game design, the user experience, and the mechanics at the heart of the game, such as the generation of the cars that the player must avoid and the main game loop.

Gameplay

The player can move in all directions using the directional arrows on the keyboard. Power-ups can be collected during the game to increase the player's life points. The player must avoid the cars crossing the road and try to go as far as possible. During the adventure, he crosses different biomes that change the environment, the difficulty, and the obstacles encountered.
