G.O.A.T is a website created for a computer science course in high school. This website offers quizzes about Hip-Hop culture, including questions about all the eras that make up this culture. The questions are primarily based on the music and the different groups and artists who contributed to this art.
The project was conducted during an introduction to computer science course in high school; it represents the final project of this course. The purpose of the project was to create a dynamic website. A team of two people conducted it for four weeks.
The website was developed using HTML, CSS, and Javascript for the front end and PHP and SQL for the management and storage of the quizzes. I worked on building the website's front and back ends while my teammate created the content for the website, the texts, and the questions. We decided to separate the work like this because of his lack of programming knowledge.
At the end of the development, we reached all the objectives we had set ourselves. The site offers quizzes accessible by era, from the 70s to the 2010s, and quizzes by individual artists. The site provides additional information for all questions once the quiz is completed to enhance the user's knowledge.
